A study shows that the lack of research on the health effects of GMOs

A study by scientists from Norway and Denmark shows a serious lack of published research on the effects of GMOs (genetically modified organisms). The study by Professor Ian Pryme and Rolf Lembcke was published in the journal Nutrition and Health earlier this year (2003). They say there are a dozen published studies on health effects of genetically modified feed. The researchers found that the quality of some of these is inadequate. More than half have been carried out in collaboration with companies (in whole or in part), and these found no negative effects on body organs.Other studies are independent and have specifically examined the effects on intestinal mucosa. Many of these changes are potentially harmful have not been explained.
As we know, similar effects on the gutCheap eutiroxlining were found in the study of animals not reported in the Flavr Savr. Also unprecedented is the evidence of human nutrition at Newcastle University found that transgenes transfer of GM food on gut bacteria at detectable levels after only one genetically modified foods. Biotech companies often refer to some animal studies 100 power as evidence of safety. However, these were designed to test the commercial value of animal feed, not safety. In addition, many of these studies were duplicates and not all were published.
